FOUNDATIONS

Leave a legacy so Louisville Methodist Church can impact future generations for Jesus.

WHAT ARE FOUNDATIONS?

Gifts to the "Foundations" of our church (Music Ministry, Children's Ministry, and Building Fund) will serve the needs and ministries of the church during our lifetime - as well as for future generations of Louisville Methodist Church. The earnings from the Glory of God endowment are utilized to sustain and enhance these three ministry areas. Leave your legacy through our online giving platform below.

We don't need to tell you how important investing in reaching people for Jesus and taking care of our facilities (which are architecturally and historically significant) can be. Both require committed stewardship and work and we are grateful when you see these as vitally important as well.

One specific way you can give to the "Foundations" is through the Glory of God / Tree of Life located in the fellowship hall. You are able to commemorate loved ones through these different pieces on the tree:

  • Copper Leaf (2.75 in x 3.5 in) -- $100.00
  • Gold Leaf (2.75 in x 3.5 in) -- $250.00
  • Acorn (5 in x 4 in) -- $500.00
  • Small Stone (6.5 in x 4 in) -- $700.00
  • Large Stone (7.5 in x 5 in) -- $1000.00

Contributions can also be made to the Foundations through various forms of charitable giving: gifts of cash, securities, or other real or personal property. Other options of gift giving and potential tax and estate benefits include the following: Bequests, Charitable Gift Annuity, Life Insurance, Charitable Lead Trust, Charitable Remainder Trust, and Retirement Plans.

HOW THE FOUNDATIONS WORK

The Louisville Methodist Church is a non-profit, charitable, religious, tax-exempt entity which can receive and invest contributions as an endowment to benefit Louisville Methodist Church. Gifts may be received as a current payment or may be deferred until some future date or event.
