COME VISIT US!

Lifelong Member or First-Time Visitor

WE HOPE YOU'LL FEEL RIGHT AT HOME.

We know that visiting a new church is difficult, even scary. All those new people! What will you be asked to do? How will your kids fit in? What should you wear? Let us try and answer some of these questions below and help you feel like you're coming home... for the first time.

What happens on Sunday Mornings?

SUNDAY SCHOOL AND WORSHIP ARE SPECIAL EVENTS EVERY WEEK.

Sunday School groups meet throughout our church building for about 45 minutes to pray, read scripture, and learn how to apply it to daily life. We have classes for kids, youth, and adults of all ages.

At Louisville Methodist, our traditional service is set up to be a welcoming hour of well-known hymns, an inspiring message, statements of our faith, and an acknowledgement that we're all part of the family of God. You are invited to wear anything you're comfortable in, but most come dressed in slacks and button downs or blouses.

Services last about an hour, the sermon making up about 25 minutes, the rest is filled with music, fellowship, prayer, and announcements.

On the first Sunday of each month, we also celebrate Holy Communion.

What about my kids?

I HAVE CHILDREN, WHAT CAN I EXPECT FOR THEM AT LOUISVILLE METHODIST?

Children at Louisville Methodist are treated as one of our utmost priorities. We provide a nursery and children's church during our worship service. All of our volunteers are trained in accordance with our safe sanctuary policies, and we take extra care to make our church a home for children with special needs.

Children's Church begins about halfway through the worship service. After a children's message, the children go with our volunteers to our Pre-K Room to continue worshiping Jesus in age-appropriate ways. Please pick them up after the worship service in that room (ushers can help guide you if needed!).

Where should I park?

I'VE NEVER BEEN TO YOUR CHURCH BEFORE, SO HELP ME KNOW WHERE TO GO.

There are two main parking areas: 1) a small grass lot behind our office building, entrance off of Peachtree Street. 2) a large grass field across the street from the Church Property on 7th Street.

Once you have parked, walk up to the front doors of the Sanctuary and our ushers will greet you and help you find everything from the nursery, bathroom, a place to sit, and so much more.

If you have a physical disability, there are some handicap parking spaces on 7th Street in front of the Sanctuary. Follow the Sidewalk that is in between the Sanctuary and Social Hall to the ramp for the easiest entry.

We can't wait to see you!
